Important Information

Check-in and Check-out Procedures

  • Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
  • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.

Property Access

  • Guests do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. These are for member use only.
  • The North Pavilion is host to several summer parties, including a Fourth of July celebration and concerts which guests may attend. However, if there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsman's Lodge.
  • There is a carport by the covered front deck, plus an additional parking spot directly in front of the door.

Policies and Rules

  • Minimum age: 25 years. This person is required to sign the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
  • Children allowed.
  • No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • No events allowed.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
  • Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATVs. For information about ATV rentals please visit: offroadadventuresnc.com.
  • Mature, well-trained dogs only. Pet rent $25/night each. Max of two dogs. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.

Fees and Payments

  • All Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the amenities.
  • Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each.
  • The summer concerts are open to all guests; there is an admission fee for each person and a cash bar for food and drinks.
  • All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
  • OFF-PEAK SPECIAL: Stay longer than the minimum number of nights and automatically receive a 5-15% Discount, excluding holidays.

Parking Information

  • There is a carport by the covered front deck, plus an additional parking spot directly in front of the door.
  • Free parking is available at the property.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • All Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
  • All BRMR homes offer well-stocked kitchens with utensils needed to cook meals. There is a starter set of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
  • Hair dryers are provided.
  • Towels and linens are provided.
  • All visitors on premise at the winery must be 16 years or older. This is strictly enforced.
  • While staying at Whitetail Ridge Lodge, you have access to most amenities inside Eagles Nest, such as:
    • Great Camp: BBQ Pavilion, Amphitheater (summer concerts from May to November), The Great Lawn, Playground, Hiking Trails, Ropes Course and Climbing Tower (seasonal), Mini-Golf Course
    • 24/7 Dollar General concept store

Safety and Emergency Information

  • 4WD/AWD required for winter months.
  • 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (November-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during these months should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
  • Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector are present in the home.

  • Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
  • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to sign the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.

  • Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
